If only one thing has become clear over the past few years, it is the lack of joined up thinking in the Irish Business Community's attitude towards security. Whilst lobbying for increased policing and stronger controls on crime and anti-social behaviour, we see customers continue to rely on non-expert advice when seeking to kerb losses in their organisations, and a penny-pinching approach to systems procurement and implementation.
Whilst many customers are not yet ready to change from the "it'll be grand" attitudes that have paved the path to our current position, some companies are looking for real solutions, defined by international best practice and guided by recognised standards and methodologies.
